Artist Submission Information & Guidelines

Entrants may be from anywhere in the world, and are not required to attend any exhibits presented by Dream in Plastic to have their art included in the gallery.

Submissions will not be edited or censored. Submissions are not to be, within reason, explicitly violent or triggering. Nudes are accepted within artistic content that is not overly pornographic.

Submissions of previously published and displayed works will be accepted.

We can accept submissions in the following formats:

      
• High quality images copied to a disc or printed and mailed to: Dream in Plastic, 177 Main Street, Beacon, NY 12508. If you want your submission returned to you after review, please provide a reusable container and pre-paid return postage. Please include a current CV, bio or artist statement.
     
• High quality images emailed to info@dreaminplastic.com with the subject line “Gallery Submission” (please, no larger than 1280 x 960 pixels at 72dpi). Accepted file formats for artwork, photographs and documentation are: jpg, jpeg, gif, tif, png, eps, ai, psd, doc, xls, rtf, txt. Please include a current CV, bio or artist statement.
      
• A web address where examples of your work can been seen, and a current CV, bio or artist statement can be found.

Gallery space at Dream in Plastic
Our gallery space is open at 177 Main Street in Beacon, New York. We are currently accepting submissions for solo and group shows. The exhibit changes monthly with an opening reception held in the evening of the second Saturday of each month. This is subject to change so your best bet is to check out the: events page.
