Lomography |
|
| Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, "happy accidents," and alternative film processing are often considered part of the Lomographic technique. You are encouraged to adopt a "don't think, just shoot" approach to photography, and to document everyday life. Typical lomography cameras are deliberately low-fidelity and inexpensively constructed. Some cameras make use of multiple lenses and rainbow-colored flashes, or exhibit extreme optical distortions and even light leaks which artistically enhance your photographs. With a lighthearted approach in a very digital age, the suspense of waiting to get your pictures developed is part of the fun since you never know what to expect. | |
